BOTOX® Cosmetic:
BOTOX® Cosmetic is a simple, yet temporary, non-surgical treatment that can reduce the
mild to moderate wrinkles of the face, especially the frown lines between the eye brows, by a
series of injections administered by Dr. Dexter. It is the most common non-surgical cosmetic
treatment in the United States and is FDA approved for the treatment of frown brow wrinkles
in patients between the ages of 18-65 years of age. The treatment takes only 10-15 minutes
to administer and within a few days results are amazing. Dr. Dexter does not like to "freeze"
the face, but tailer the treatment to reserve some facial expression. A touch up is included
and adjustments made (seldom needed) at about the 10 day mark. Most treatments last 3-5
months depending on the number of past treatments and some physiological differences we
